New Year, New Tour

Interesting notes:

• Start is in Gerona, a place a lot of pros call home during the season.
• Seven mountain stages with 3 summit finishes.
• The team time trial is back.
• Mount Ventoux is back and could decide the race as the stage right before the ride into Paris. Usually it’s an individual time trial.
• Lance? Who knows but I’m going to love seeing Contador attacking on the mountains. Hopefully we’ll see him break legs on Mount Ventoux.
• Will local boy (okay, it is a stretch to call him local) Tyler Farrar get a start.
